Invitations:

Begin by sending out whimsical invitations featuring classic Mother Goose characters.

Decor:

Decorate the party space with nursery rhyme-inspired decor, such as colorful bunting, cutouts of characters like Humpty Dumpty and Little Bo Peep, and storybook backdrops.

Creating a photo backdrop for your party is a wonderful way to enhance the celebration and create lasting memories. With a bit of creativity and planning, you can craft a delightful backdrop that will be the highlight of the party.

Colors and Patterns: First, select colors and patterns that align with the Mother Goose theme. For example, pastel colors for balloons, backdrop and streamers.

Set Up the Base:

• If using a backdrop stand, set it up according to the instructions.
• If using a wall, ensure it’s clear and clean.
• Hang the backdrop fabric or paper using tape, hooks, or clips. Ensure it’s smooth and wrinkle-free.

Add the Main Decorations:

• Attach themed decorations to the backdrop. For instance, add printouts of Jack & Jill, Humpty Dumpty, the Cow Jumping Over the Moon, etc.
• Use double-sided tape, adhesive hooks, or string to secure decorations without damaging the wall or fabric.

Now let’s move onto everyone’s favorite – the food!

Mother Goose Themed Food:

Serve themed snacks like “curds and whey” (yogurt and granola) or cupcakes decorated with nursery rhyme toppers.

Goody Bags:

Send guests home with goody bags filled with small toys, stickers, and perhaps a Mother Goose book to continue the magic at home.
